CADPIPE Industrial 10.1 Release Notes

Enhancements:

New: Customizable BOM Format. Added the ability to format rows and columns. Auto-BOM and Global-BOM will use the specified format when placing the BOM on the Drawing. A new command has been added to both ISO and Industrial’s pulldowns to access the formatting command.

New: 3D Label Reports have New BOM. Label Reports now have the option to go directly to the drawing using the new BOM formatting utility that is used for Auto BOM. A new dialog box is presented with options, including and option to select a different BOM format file for your labels. Added a Label Configuration Dialog that specifies arrow length and text size for both paper space and model space.

New: Reducing Elbows drawn as Solids.

    New: Added 3D Weld Representations.

New: Under Options, there is a new Tab called Welds. This is where you specify the next weld tag number.  This is also where you can add missing welds or renumber existing welds.

New: Weld Reports are selected from the main Pipe Reports dialog. The on-screen report gives you the Weld Tag and the Position. You can double click on a line to zoom to that weld.

New: Query Place Text, Allows the user to place any of the query text that appears in the query list box. To access this, use the “Place Description” button. On that dialog, a new button has been added labeled “Use Selected Text”. You still have the ability to edit the text before you place it.

New: Pipe Insulation. You can now insulate a single piece of pipe, a run of pipe or all pipe of a particular system.

New: Weld Tag Edit. When editing a weld tag and a duplicate exists, you now have the option to “insert” that tag into the line and increment the rest of the tags on that line.

New: ISO and Weld Tags. Weld Tag information comes across from 3dDesign, through AutoISO and new command on the "Auto" pulldown menu for "Weld Tag Reports".

New: BOM Tag Equipment. Added New BOM Tag Command. This one allows you to Tag an Item that is not joinable. The Size, Rating, End Types, etc are all free form so you can type in anything you want. The command is on the Tools pulldown menu and is labeled “Equipment BOM Tag”.

New: Prompt Dialog Box. Current command now appears in the prompt dialog box.

New: Un-Tag BOM. Added a Command to allow you to remove the BOM Tag from an item.

New: User Code/Desc in Query, Added User Code/User Desc to the Query dialog. Also added to the Tooltip.

Fix: Equipment. When modifying a piece of equipment, if you missed the pick on selecting the equipment, you would get an unhandled exception.

Fix: ISO Query – 64bit, When a query was run in 64-bit ISO it would cause an AutoCAD crash.
