Fast and Simple generation of complex 3D piping systems. Includes many time saving features such as AutoRouting, Automatic pipe and elbows. You can use an intelligent 3D routing line to access different placement and editing capabilities where required.

It is also a simple matter to insert a fitting into previously placed piping, which automatically breaks and corrects the pipe length(s). Inserting these fittings at precise locations is made easy.

Interactive collision checking will also alert you to any potential problems.

Automatically selects your correct materials and components, as per spec requirements. This helps eliminate costly errors. Alternate selections available within the piping specs are automatically listed during drawing generation.

Extensive databases, or fitting catalogues, are included with the modules. Simple tools allow you to add to, or customize these. (ANSI, API, FRP/PVC, DIN, BS, JIS standards, as well as several others are included)

Fast and easy to define User piping specifications. Either copy and modify supplied generic piping specs, or easily create all new specifications.

User codes or part numbers can be easily added at general or specific levels, as per client requirements.

Spec modifications can take place even after drawing completion, and will be reflected in the bom.

Cadpipe Industrial Pipe supplies extensive editing tools. Edit existing line number and/or the piping spec when the client calls for changes . Change Fittings from Shop to Field with a single pick. Edit weld tags if required, and export automatically to the isos.

A selection of Hangers and Pipe Supports are bundled with your 3D Piping software. The tags and location of these supports can be exported directly to your isometrics.

CADPIPE can automatically generate a complete bill of materials report for one drawing or a global report across a number of drawings. A typical BOM report includes the material specification, pipe size, schedule, rating, end types, line number, line specification, and many other parameters, such as part numbers for example. Weld Reports are also available. You can customize the descriptions or user codes through the specification generator. You can view the complete BOM on your screen, send it to a printer, export it to Excel, to your drawing itself, or to an ASCII file. You can also export directly to Microsoft Access for customized sorting of the material information.

The Bom to Drawing can be easily formatted to suit your requirements. Multiple formats can be saved to suit different projects or clients.

The creation of the Universal Data Exchange (UDE) file from your model can be used to automatically generate Cadpipe Isometrics for fabrication or stress analysis.
