CADPIPE Building Services 2002 (7.0) Upgrade Release Notes

The following items are included in this upgrade:

1. New Duct and Pipe Insulation function added.
2. CADPIPE Section View function has been rewritten, allowing you to generate section views from model or paper space. The new function automates section generation, drawing placement, and gives the ability to store a number of sections for generation at a later time. It also offers text annotation in paper space.
3. Now able to use all AutoCAD edit commands (move, copy, rotate, mirror, etc) directly on CADPIPE objects. CADPIPE Move, Copy, etc commands are no longer needed.
4. Reinstatement of quick keys for fitting placement.
5. Expanded HVAC Query function for fittings, accessory items, and architectural items.
6. Added ability to connect flex duct to any round fitting.
7. Added new Conical fittings to fittings menus.
8. Added ability to copy and paste report text via Windows Clipboard.
9. Added Status Line which displays the current system, category, pipe size, Auto-Spec setting, and elevation.
10. Enhanced Label Function Arrow Size. The setting is now saved in a default file, so it remains the same from drawing to drawing until reset.
11. Enhanced Label Function, allowing placement of labels in paper space.
12. Enhanced the ISO dimension function to allow dimensions in paper space.
13. Added two new Report Output options: Excel and Access database.
14. Added "Elev" option to the "Start a Run" command, allowing you to set the elevation by picking any pipe, duct, arch object, etc.

The following issues from CADPIPE Building Services 7.0 have been resolved:

1. Corrected error in Copper Flange database.
2. Corrected problem with Copying mirrored fittings.
3. Fixed bug with flanged Multi-port Valves.
4. Corrected problem with several fittings not placing flanges when called for in the spec.
5. Corrected running OSNAPS problems.
6. Fixed errors in ceiling grid placement.
7. Corrected issues with Angled Valve stem placement.
8. Corrected an AutoCAD problem affecting center points of certain elbows and bends.
9. Fixed a problem with drain placement in solids.
10. Fixed two items in Batch Collision function.
11. Corrected problem that occurred when layer "0" was off or frozen.
12. Fixed bug with Rectangular Offset fittings.
13. Corrected problem with vane placement in certain fittings.
14. Corrected lining placement in certain fittings.
15. Fixed Tee Wye Fitting representation.
16. Corrected solid extrusion errors on certain fittings.
17. Fixed graphical error that occurred when placing diffusers using OSNAPS.
18. Fixed bug that would not place flanges on inlines.
19. Fixed bug when using the align feature during the Insert Fitting command.
