CADPIPE Commercial Pipe 2002 (7.0) Upgrade Release Notes
The following items are included in this upgrade:
- CADPIPE Section View function has been rewritten, allowing you to generate
section views from model or paper space. The new function automates section
generation, drawing placement, and gives the ability to store a number of
sections for generation at a later time. It also offers text annotation
in paper space.
- Now able to use all AutoCAD edit commands (move, copy, rotate, mirror,
etc) directly on CADPIPE objects. CADPIPE Move, Copy, etc commands are no
longer needed.
- Reinstatement of quick keys for fitting placement.
- Added Status Line which displays the current system, category, pipe size,
Auto-Spec setting, and elevation.
- Enhanced Label Function Arrow Size. The setting is now saved in a default
file, so it remains the same from drawing to drawing until reset.
- Enhanced Label Function, allowing placement of labels in paper space.
- Enhanced the ISO dimension function to allow dimensions in paper space.
- Added the option to send reports to Excel or Access database.
- New Auto-Spool feature, allowing automatic generation of spool drawings
in paper space. Stores all spool sheets in separate drawing folder. Spools
are interactive with model.
- Added ability to copy and paste report text via Windows Clipboard.
- Added "Elev" option to the "Start a Run" command,
allowing you to set the elevation by picking any pipe, duct, arch object,
etc.
- Added commands to the right click menu for erasing, moving, copying and
rotating parts of a group. They are accessed by the Shift or Ctrl key and
the right mouse button.
- New Pipe Insulation function added.
The following issues from CADPIPE Commercial Pipe 7.0
have been resolved:
- Corrected error in Copper flange database.
- Corrected problem with Copying mirrored fittings.
- Fixed bug with flanged Multi-port Valves.
- Corrected problem with several fittings not placing flanges when called
for in the spec.
- Corrected running OSNAPS problems.
- Fixed errors in ceiling grid placement.
- Corrected issues with Angled Valve stem placement.
- Corrected an AutoCAD problem affecting center points of certain elbows
and bends.
- Fixed a problem with drain placement in solids.
- Fixed two items in Batch Collision function.
- Corrected problem that occurred when layer "0" was off or frozen.
- Fixed bug that would not place flanges on inlines.
- Fixed bug when using the align feature during the Insert Fitting command.
