CADPIPE Industrial 7.0 Update Release Notes

The following items are included in this upgrade:

3D Design

1. CADPIPE Section View function has been rewritten, allowing you to generate section views from model or paper space. The new function automates section generation, drawing placement, and gives the ability to store a number of sections for generation at a later time. It also offers text annotation in paper space.
2. Now able to use all AutoCAD edit commands (move, copy, rotate, mirror, etc) directly on CADPIPE objects. CADPIPE Move, Copy, etc commands are no longer needed.
3. Reinstatement of quick keys for fitting placement.
4. Added Bolt type. User can select Stud, Machine, or Custom. This information is added to the gasket and is spec driven.
5. Enhanced Label Function Arrow Size. The setting is now saved in a default file, so it remains the same from drawing to drawing until reset.
6. Enhanced Label Function, allowing placement of labels in paper space.
7. Enhanced the ISO dimension function to allow dimensions in paper space.
8. Added two new Report Output options: Excel and Access database.
9. New Auto-Spool feature, allowing automatic generation of spool drawings in paper space. Stores all spool sheets in separate drawing folder. Spools are interactive with model.
10. Added ability to copy and paste report text via Windows Clipboard.
11. Added full branch functionality to half couplings.
12. New Pipe Insulation function added.

Bug Fixes in 3D Design

1. Corrected problem with Copying mirrored fittings.
2. Fixed bug with Alternates and Valves.
3. Corrected problem with several fittings not placing flanges when called for in the spec.
4. Corrected running OSNAPS problems.
5. Fixed errors in ceiling grid placement.
6. Corrected issues with Angled Valve stem placement.
7. Corrected an AutoCAD problem affecting center points of certain elbows and bends.
8. Fixed two items in Batch Collision function.
9. Corrected problem that occurred when layer "0" was off or frozen.
10. Corrected a UDE problem from Ortho involving gaskets.
11. Fixed error when UDE Out or Global BOM was not picking up fitting manufacturer and including it in the item code for several fittings.
12. Allowance for zero length gaskets.
13. Corrected problem in Auto-BOM and UDE for extra bolt lengths to be reported.
14. Corrected weight calculations for pipe lengths in the BOM.
15. Corrected reported lengths for pipe nipples in the BOM.
16. Corrected problems with x-refs.

CADPIPE P&ID

1. Added placement for the 3 tag attributes required for new Instrument Balloon blocks.

CADPIPE Isometric

1. Corrected fitting to fitting dimensioning of valves.
2. Fixed pipe length calculation for Auto-Iso with SO Flanges
3. Added full branch functionality to half couplings in Iso and AutoIso.
4. Corrected problems with the Edit Weight command.
5. Corrected weight calculations for pipe lengths in the BOM and Global Bom.

CADPIPE Ortho

1. Corrected problem with Sectioning EOL's that caused system to crash.
2. Corrected a problem with weld gaps when running spec driven.
3. Corrected weight calculations for pipe lengths in the BOM.
