Uninstalling All Versions of Cadpipe
Instructions for Uninstalling All Versions of Cadpipe:
1. Make a new folder (i.e. Cp-HVAC-db-BkUp) on your network or C:\Drive (outside of the CADPIPE file structure) and backup your databases (Commercial Pipe) and/or specs (HVAC) to one of these folders. Also, in the C:\CP82\commercial\HvacDbs folder there are Lining, Reinforcing, Vane And Seam, and Wrapper Discription.ini files that need to be Copied to the new folder you created if you have made any additions or changes to these items. For Electrical you should call Tech Support first (1-888-239-9004 extension 503).
2. Go to Control Panel and select Add and Remove Programs - Uninstall all versions, update versions, and Service Paks of CADPIPE. Then remove desktop icons and the shortcuts from the Start Menu\Programs.
3. Go to your C:\Drive and delete all the CADPIPE folders (example: CP72, CP7201, CP80, CP81, CP82).
4. Go to your Windows folder on your C:\Drive and delete the commercial.ini file.
5. Now you can load the latest CADPIPE software.
